The Blue Jays signed Kennedy to a minor-league contract July 9.

Kennedy elected free agency after being booted from the Phillies' 40-man roster earlier this month and is now on the roster at Triple-A Buffalo. The infielder sports a career .193/.287/.296 batting line over parts of four big-league seasons.
