Elias Diaz News: Not starting Friday

Diaz is not in the Padres' starting lineup against the Brewers on Friday.

Diaz will be idle for a second straight game while Martin Maldonado serves behind home plate and bats ninth. Diaz has gone 3-for-24 with two runs, two RBI and eight strikeouts over his last 10 games.
