Jon Singleton News: Outrighted to Triple-A

Singleton cleared waivers Thursday and was sent outright to Triple-A Sugar Land.

Singleton appeared in three games during his week-long stint with the Astros, going 1-for-9 at the plate before being designated for assignment. He'll officially remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed, and his .887 OPS at Sugar Land will keep him in consideration for a promotion if the Astros' bench depth is tested again later this season.
