Maximo Acosta

Maximo Acosta

23-Year-Old Third Baseman3B
Miami Marlins
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Acosta has some rather interesting under the hood numbers that do not quite show up in his limited big league sample size or even his overall minor league numbers. Acosta is who the Marlins received in return for dealing Jake Burger and the younger player provides more upside and flexibility for yet another rebuild era in Miami. The Marlins do not have a projected regular over the age of 30 and there is a path for Acosta to hit his way onto this roster in at least a utility capacity. Another possible path is at third base where Connor Norby has not exactly naied things down with his lack of production and growing strikeout rates. Deeper NL only leagues should keep an eye on Acosta while DC50's and Draft Champions leagues should keep this name handy for the later rounds because Miami is nothing if not the land of opportunity for players with upside.
