2026 Fantasy Outlook
Henriquez wasn't ready for the start of the 2025 season due to a metatarsal injury in his left foot; an injury that kept him out of action until late-June. The 23-year-old spent a few weeks in Triple-A before he was summoned to the big-leagues after the All-Star break. The flamethrowing right-hander completed 19.0 regular-season innings with the Dodgers and averaged a remarkable 100.9 mph on his fastball. Henriquez also expanded his arsenal, adding a sinker and curveball as secondary offerings to complement his cutter and slider. The Venezuelan native improved his walk rate, which likely helped his cause in making the Dodgers' Wild Card and World Series rosters during the 2025 postseason. Henriquez won't be taking over closing duties from Edwin Diaz anytime soon, but he certainly has the talent to climb Los Angeles' leverage ladder and become a reliable source of holds in 2026.
