2026 Fantasy Outlook
We know an organization, or a fantasy team, can never have too much pitching. That said, any of the non Fab-Five pitchers in Seattle are tough to forecast for fantasy purposes because the Seattle rotation is as set in stone as any rotation could be this winter. Hancock and Logan Evans are competing for the Alert 5 spot in Tacoma should something happen to one of them. Hancock is preparing for the role by preparing to come to camp as a starting pitcher this spring after working in a swingman role this past season. The workload should not be a problem as Hancock has worked 98, 155, and 134.2 innings respectively each of the past three seasons, but Hancock's stuff may not play up as well with extra exposure at the big league level. Stuff+ likes his slider but considers all his other offerings below average. Hancock is more of a draft-and-hold target because there is no doubt he will be pitching major league innings at some point in 2026, but when and where remains to be seen. Read Past Outlooks
