2026 Fantasy Outlook
Susana has had some extremely dominant stretches in the minors, including a run from July 26 through Aug. 24 last year where he struck out 52 batters with a 2.02 ERA and 0.82 WHIP in 26.2 innings. Unfortunately, he needed surgery in September to repair a torn lat and will be sidelined until at least the middle of this season. He also missed almost three months earlier in 2025 with a sprained elbow, so Susana's durability risk is extreme. A mountain of a man, the 6-foot-7, 283-pound Susana has outlier size and outlier stuff, as his four-seamer sits at 99-100 mph and touches 104 mph. He also touches 102 mph with his sinker and befuddles hitters with a bevy of plus secondaries. Susana, who turns 22 shortly before Opening Day, will enter 2027 having thrown over 65 innings just once, when he logged 104.3 innings in 2024. It could be argued that Susana's ceiling is as high as any pitching prospect in the game, and this offseason could end up being a perfect time to buy low. Read Past Outlooks
