Prielipp finally had a healthy season after two Tommy John surgeries limited him to 32.2 innings in his first three professional seasons. The 48th overall draft pick in 2022 had Tommy John surgery in 2021 and then needed internal brace surgery on the same elbow in July 2023. The Twins limited him to pitching less than five innings in any start until late September. The results were promising with a 3.65 ERA, 10.7 K/9 and 2.6 BB/9 in 61.2 innings at Double-A. He had a 5.15 ERA when promoted to Triple-A in September with an elevated walk rate (4.5 BB/9) but still had a strong 10.7 K/9. He threw a career-high six innings in his final start of the season while building up to 82.2 innings -- his first time over 25 innings in a season, including college. Prielipp has a strong repertoire and a high ceiling as a starter if he can continue to handle a starter's workload. Read Past Outlooks
