France, once again, found more playing time than his skills likely deserve as organizations continue to see whether he can repeat his 2022 production levels. Seattle gave up, Cincinnati tried, as did the Twins before France ended up in Toronto at the deadline this past season. France is one again a free agent and hopes to land a deal with a club looking for a veteran presence at first base or DH or a short-sided platoon situation with a contending club. His production at first base is below replacement level for fantasy purposes, but it is tough to ignore the playing time he has collected since 2021.
