The 2025 season showcased the volatility in Bart's profile, as he went from having an apparent breakout 2024 season to very limited production just one year later. His ability to make hard contact remained (10.4 percent barrel and 43.2 percent hard hit rate), but both his strikeout rate and groundball rate reached career highs. The end result was a total collapse of power production, with his slugging percentage cratering from .462 to .340 and his ISO from .198 to .091. Bart managed to hit a decent .249, though he relied upon a .356 BABIP to do so. While not directly related to fantasy, Bart's defensive metrics also remained well below-average by any measure. That leaves him with an uncertain role entering the 2026 season, particularly as Pittsburgh's lineup improves around him.
