RJ Schreck

25-Year-Old OutfielderOF
Toronto Blue Jays AAA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Schreck is a big-league ready corner outfielder, but he is not on Toronto's 40-man roster and doesn't have a clear path to playing time heading into 2026. One reason the Jays aren't factoring him into their short-term plans is that he's average to fringe-average defensively in a corner, so he'd need to be 10-15 percent better than league average to get consistent run in the majors. He logged a 166 wRC+ in a return to Double-A as a 24-year-old and slashed .242/.392/.435 with nine home runs, a 16.2 percent walk rate, a 20.9 percent strikeout rate and a 129 wRC+ in 58 games at Triple-A while being a bit old for the level. A lefty hitter, Schreck might end up with an above-average or better hit tool and could be capable of facing opposite-handed pitching (.808 OPS vs. LHP in 2025) in his prime, although he would likely break in as a platoon player. He stole nine bases in 105 games in the minors last year and any stolen bases in the majors should be considered a bonus. Read Past Outlooks
