2025 Fantasy Outlook
Moore got off to a slow start last season at pitcher-friendly Double-A Rocket City, but he heated up in the more offense-focused Pacific Coast League at Triple-A Salt Lake to earn his first major-league promotion in mid-June. It was mostly a struggle with the Angels for the 2024 first-round draft pick, as Moore's contact issues in the minors (27.1 percent strikeout rate) only got worse at the big-league level (33.7 percent strikeout rate). The 23-year-old sported a 10.3 percent walk rate, and he did have a stretch late in the year when he homered four times in a nine-game span. Moore still has plenty of time to turn into a nice power bat at second base, but it would take a leap of faith to think that could occur in 2026. Read Past Outlooks
Goes deep Friday
Moore went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's loss to Colorado.
Analysis
Moore put the Angels on the board with a two-run homer that tied the score 2-2 in the second inning. The rookie second baseman has been flashing his power of late, belting three homers in six games since being called back up to the big leagues Sept. 13. His other two hits during that span have been doubles, though he's also struck out nine times in 20 plate appearances.

According to Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com, Angels team owner Arte Moreno indicated Moore could be a lineup regular in 2025.
Analysis
The 21-year-old was drafted eighth overall by the Halos in July and moved up to the Double-A level by the end of the campaign, where he had a .322/.378/.533 slash line with five homers in 23 games. The organization hasn't been shy about promoting its top prospects over the past few years -- prime examples being Nolan Schanuel, Zach Neto and Ben Joyce -- and Moore could be the next player to make a quick ascent to the majors.
