Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Wagaman opened the season with Double-A Rochester. After posting a .795 OPS in 94 games, he was advanced to Triple-A Salt Lake City where he recorded a .855 OPS in 27 games. Wagaman was called up early in September and played every day for the rest of the season. However, a .673 OPS in 18 games wasn't good enough for the Angels, so they released him. The Marlins signed Wagaman to a major league contract, likely finding appeal in his ability to play all the corner infield and outfield spots. Wagaman puts the ball in play with above average exit velocity, so there is a chance he serves as a super-utility. He has no mixed league allure but could be an end-gamer in NL-only play.
