Narciso Crook

Crook was one of a handful of players who made his MLB debut with a rebuilding Cubs team in 2022. He appeared in just four games, registering two hits and two RBI in those contests. He looked pretty good for Triple-A Iowa, where he spent most of the season and tallied 19 home runs to go along with an .837 OPS across 101 games. Crook also displayed decent speed, stealing 13 bases in 19 attempts for Iowa. He primarily played in the outfield in the minors, though he did also make nine appearances at first base. The Cubs decided not to keep the 27-year-old around after the season, and the Red Sox scooped him up. Despite the change in scenery, Crook's outlook is pretty much the same in 2023. He'll provide some organizational depth behind the likes of Alex Verdugo, Enrique Hernandez and Rob Refsnyder in the Boston outfield. Crook figures to spend most of his time in the minors, so he's unlikely to make much of a fantasy impact.
