Elite DFS Picks
Guards
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Thunder
($10,600) vs. Suns
Gilgeous-Alexander has yet to post fewer than 39.0 DK points this season and has tallied 50.0 or more in seven of his last eight outings, including 55.8 against Phoenix on Nov. 28. Over his last five appearances, the reigning MVP has averaged 34.8 points, 5.8 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 34.8 minutes per contest.
De'Aaron Fox, Spurs
($9,000) at Lakers
Fox is coming off a lackluster shooting performance during Monday's win over the Pelicans, though he still put up 30.5 DK points. The star point guard will now look to bounce back against another defense that ranks in the bottom third of the league in defensive rating (116.2). Fox has recorded at least 35.0 DK points in 11 of his last 12 appearances, averaging 25.5 points, 7.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 32.3 minutes per tilt over that stretch.
Forwards/Centers
LeBron James, Lakers
($8.600) vs. Spurs
The superstar is fresh off his best performance of the season (51.8 DK points) in Sunday's win over Philadelphia and will look to continue stuffing the stat sheet in Wednesday's NBA Cup quarterfinals game. James continues to produce well-rounded performances, even if his scoring numbers are not what fans are accustomed to. Over seven regular-season appearances, the 40-year-old forward is averaging 16.1 points, 7.6 assists and 4.7 rebounds in 33.1 minutes per contest.
Jalen Williams, Thunder
($8,000) vs. Suns
Williams has appeared in only five regular-season games following a lengthy rehab from offseason wrist surgery, though he has yet to post fewer than 34.0 DK points this season. The star forward is averaging 17.8 points, 6.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks across 29.0 minutes per tilt thus far.
Chet Holmgren, Thunder
($7,800) vs. Suns
The Thunder are such an impressive squad that on any given night they can easily have three players score 20-plus points. Even with Jalen Williams back in the lineup, Holmgren has continued to perform at an elite level. The big man has logged 29.0-plus DK points in six straight games, averaging 19.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 blocks across 27.8 minutes per contest during that span.
Expected Chalk DFS Picks
Luka Doncic, Lakers
($12,000) vs. Spurs
In real life and fantasy, Doncic remains one of the best players in the world. The superstar has yet to log fewer than 40.8 DK points this season, which came against a stifling Thunder defense Nov. 12. He's coming off a triple-double and had recorded six straight double-doubles prior. Additionally, the five-time All-Star generated a season-high-tying 81.3 DK points against San Antonio on Nov. 5.
Mid-Range DFS Picks
Collin Gillespie, Suns
($6,800) at Thunder
Gillespie hasn't posted less than 20.0 DK points in 11 straight games, averaging 18.4 points, 4.7 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals across 31.4 minutes per contest. The Villanova product should remain in the starting lineup if Devin Booker (groin) is ruled out, but even if the superstar returns, Gillespie should still remain an important part of the Suns' rotation.
Mark Williams, Suns
($6,000) at Thunder
Williams has recorded at least 28.0 DK points in seven of his last eight outings, averaging 15.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.4 assists across 24.8 minutes per contest. He also delivered a 30.0-DK-point performance against the Thunder on Nov. 28, registering a double-double in just 22 minutes.
Value DFS Picks
Julian Champagnie, Spurs
($5,000) at Lakers
With Stephon Castle returning from a nine-game absence due to a left hip flexor strain, Champagnie shifted back to a bench role in Monday's win over New Orleans. However, the 24-year-old forward still logged 29 minutes, posting 35.5 DK points. He has generated 19.5 or more DK points in eight of his last nine appearances.
Dylan Harper, Spurs
($4,700) at Lakers
Harper gradually continues to see increased burn following an extended absence due to a left calf strain, recording 26 or more minutes for the first time since Oct. 27 during Monday's win over New Orleans. The rookie guard has notched at least 18.3 DK points in six of his seven outings since the extended absence, during which he has averaged 13.0 points, 4.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 20.6 minutes per tilt.
Cason Wallace, Thunder
($4,500) vs. Suns
Wallace has been a mainstay in the starting five this season and has racked up a steal in 12 consecutive outings, delivering double-digit DK points in each of them. The third-year guard has tallied at least 18.5 DK points in four of his last five games, during which he has averaged 7.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.0 steals in 25.8 minutes per contest.
