NBA Pick'Em Today
Phoenix Suns vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Jalen Williams over 18.5 points, Sleeper, 2 PM CT
Williams ended with 25 points (11-19 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 25 minutes during Sunday's 131-101 victory over Utah. Even though OKC will have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander back after the star guard missed Sunday's contest, Williams should be a key contributor for the Thunder on offense once again. He's been shaking off the rust after making his season debut Nov. 28. Williams has scored over 20 points in two of his previous three games, so even if there's a regression in workload due to SGA's return, there's good value in this line.
Suns vs. Thunder: Devin Booker over 26.5 points + assists, Underdog, 2 PM CT
Booker sustained a right groin strain against the Lakers on Dec. 1, though he has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's NBA Cup quarterfinals matchup. Given the importance of the matchup, it wouldn't be surprising if the star guard is given the green light to return from a two-game absence. In his previous five games before sustaining the groin injury, Booker averaged 21.2 points, 6.2 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals. Booker had recorded at least 25 P+A in five of his previous six outings before the injury.
San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers: Devin Vassell over 13.5 points, Pick6, 2 PM CT
Vassell has been one of the players that has stepped up for the Spurs due to the absence of Victor Wembanyama (calf), but the return of Stephon Castle and the emergence of Dylan Harper means Vassell's usage rate might dip. Even if that's the case, the line of 13.5 points looks within reach for the veteran. He has scored at least 15 points in seven of his last eight games before the five-point dud he posted against the Pelicans on Monday.
