Alex Toohey Injury: Needs season-ending knee surgery

The Warriors are waiving Toohey (knee) on Monday, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.

Toohey hasn't made an appearance in game action at any point this year for the Warriors, including the preseason, due to a left knee injury. The 2025 second-rounder now requires season-ending surgery, which prompted Golden State to replace him with Malevy Leons as a two-way player.
