Asa Newell News: Not starting Wednesday
Newell won't start Wednesday's game against the Hornets, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.
Jalen Johnson will return from a one-game absence due to knee inflammation, pushing Newell back to the second unit. Over three appearances off the bench so far this month, the rookie first-rounder has averaged 7.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 13.7 minutes per game.
