Garrison Mathews News: Earns standard deal
Mathews agreed to a standard NBA contract with the Pacers on Thursday, Tony East of Forbes.com reports Thursday.
Mathews' second 10-day contract was about to expire, so the Pacers will keep the veteran swingman on board as a permanent member of the 15-man active roster by waiving Jeremiah Robinson-Earl in a corresponding move. Across nine appearances with Indiana, Mathews has averaged 4.8 points and 1.0 three-pointers in 13.7 minutes per contest.
