Josh Hart News: Grabs 14 boards in season debut

Hart (back) recorded two points (1-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), 14 rebounds and three assists over 19 minutes during the Knicks' 105-95 win over the Celtics on Friday.

A lingering back injury from the preseason kept Hart from playing in Wednesday's season-opening win over the Cavaliers, but the veteran forward returned to action for the Knicks' second game off the bench. While coming off the bench, Hart handled a sub-20-minute role but provided plenty of energy during his time on the court, finishing with a game-high rebound total. The Knicks may continue to keep Hart in a sixth-man role moving forward, but he could see at least a slight uptick in playing time as he becomes further removed from the back injury.
