Tolu Smith News: Active versus Iowa

Smith (ankle) recorded 22 points (9-13 FG, 2-4 FT), 17 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Friday's 121-101 G League win over the Iowa Wolves.

Smith regained his scoring pace immediately upon his return from a short absence, earning his best scoring total in his last four G League games and posting a double-double for the third time in a row. Additionally, the 17 rebounds set a season-high mark for him. Smith is under a two-way contract, though he's rarely considered by the Pistons and should continue to be more involved in G League play going forward.
