Tyrese Martin News: Let go by Brooklyn
The Nets waived Martin on Thursday, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Brooklyn needed to open up space on the roster after acquiring Josh Minott, Hunter Tyson and Ochai Agbaji at the trade deadline, and Martin ended up being one of the casualties. Martin hadn't been a regular part of the rotation recently but had made 37 appearances this season for the Nets, averaging 7.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 18.8 minutes per game.
