Caleb Love

Born in Missouri, Caleb Love led Christian Brothers College High School to back-to-back Class 5 Final Fours, finishing as the runner-up during his junior season. As a senior, Love was the 2020 Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year and earned McDonald's All-American honors. The consensus five-star recruit played three years at North Carolina. In his first season, he was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team, and as a sophomore, the Tar Heels made a surprise run to the National Championship as an eight seed. Love scored 30 points in the team's Sweet 16 victory over UCLA and 28 during their Final Four win against Duke. Love transferred to Arizona for his final two years of eligibility, winning Pac-12 Player of the Year in 2024 and being named First-Team All-Big-12 in 2025 when the Wildcats moved conferences. Love is a downhill, off-the-dribble scorer who can go basket for basket with the best when he gets hot. He was an all-around producer in college, even as a freshman, but never took a statistical leap. Love has tons of potential on both sides of the ball but needs to be more consistent at the NBA level. Love's offensive makeup and measurables are comparable to Dion Waiters (6'4", 216), who was the No. 4 overall pick in 2012. Love doesn't have that type of draft pedigree due to his inconsistency in college, but if he gets hot during a combine workout, there will be a long line of interested teams willing to take a flier on the former high school superstar.
