2025 Fantasy Outlook
Saric's eighth NBA season didn't go as planned for the forward. Playing with the Nuggets for the first time, Saric struggled to break through the rotation, appearing in 16 total games with just two of those coming after the All-Star break. He averaged a measly 13.6 minutes per contest and never came close to touching fantasy value, even though Aaron Gordon struggled with a calf issue for the bulk of the second half of the campaign. The Nuggets flipped him to Sacramento for Jonas Valanciunas during the offseason, but that's hardly a better spot. Domantas Sabonis and Keegan Murray are locked in as the starting frontcourt, setting up Saric to compete for minutes with two youngsters in Isaac Jones and Maxime Raynaud in addition to veterans Doug McDermott and Drew Eubanks. Even if Saric wins a rotation spot, he'd be fortunate to see minutes in the teens on a nightly basis. Read Past Outlooks
Waived Sunday
The Pistons waived Saric on Sunday, Hunter Patterson of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Pistons converted Daniss Jenkins' two-way deal to a standard contract, and to make room on the roster, Saric will be waived. Saric will be free to join a team of his choosing upon clearing waivers, but it's unlikely he'll land in a spot that gives him any relevance in fantasy leagues.

Saric sustained a torn ACL in his right knee during the NBA Finals, so it remains to be seen if he'll be able to play in 2021-22. Should Saric defy the odds and return during the season, he'll be behind Deandre Ayton, JaVale McGee, Jae Crowder and Cameron Johnson on the Suns depth chart at the five and four spots.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Candidate to start?
Saric is among the candidates to join the Kings' starting lineup in the 2025-26 regular season opener against the Suns on Oct. 22, according to James Ham of The Kings Beat.
ANALYSIS
Keegan Murray suffered a thumb injury earlier this month and will be sidelined for around four to six weeks, meaning the Kings have an opening in their starting lineup alongside Dennis Schroder, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis. The natural option would be to replace Murray with another big man, and Saric could be an intriguing option due to his ability to stretch the floor. Saric is expected to compete for that role of fifth starter alongside Drew Eubanks and Maxime Raynaud, as well as guard Nique Clifford.
