Jamaree Bouyea

Jamaree Bouyea was born June 27, 1999 in Seaside, California. He played high school ball at Palma School in Salinas, California. While a junior, he averaged 18 points and led the team to the Division IV state championship. As a senior, he averaged 19.1 points and 6.1 assists and became the first player in 18 years to repeat as the Monterey Herald All-County Player of the Year. Bouyea accepted a college offer from San Francisco. During his first two college seasons, he started 11 of his 67 appearances and averaged 6.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.0 minutes as a sophomore. Bouyea became a full-time starter as a junior, where he averaged 12.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.6 steals in 33.1 minutes. He was also named to the 2020 WCC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team. The following year, as a senior, he was named to the WCC All-Conference First Team after averaging 17.3 points, 3.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 33.7 minutes. In his fifth year, he was also named to the WCC All-Conference First Team with averages of 17.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.8 steals in 36.2 minutes. He was also named the Las Vegas Invitational MVP. At the 2022 G League Elite Camp, Bouyea measured 6-foot-0 without shoes and 170 pounds. He had a 6-foot-7 wingspan and a 39.5-inch maximum vertical. Bouyea went unselected in the 2022 NBA Draft, but later signed a Summer League agreement with the Miami Heat.
