2025 Fantasy Outlook
Champagnie emerged as a reliable rotational forward in 2024-25, averaging 8.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.6 blocks per game, while knocking down 1.2 three-pointers per night and shooting an efficient 51.1 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from downtown. He delivered standout moments too, including his 27-point, two-steal, two-block effort in the season finale, which showcased his versatility on both ends. Champagnie earned a four-year, $10 million extension mid-season, signaling the Wizards' confidence in his role as a developing two-way asset. His efficiency and multi-category impact offer solid fantasy appeal, especially in deeper leagues or formats that value defensive contributions. However, the wing rotation is quite messy to open the season. The Wizards brought in Cam Whitmore from Houston, and Champagnie is currently penciled in as the No. 3 small forward behind Khris Middleton and Corey Kispert. It's fair to expect Champagnie's role to grow as the season progresses, but expectations for him out of the gate should be tempered. Read Past Outlooks
Drops season-high 16 points
Champagnie had 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal over 32 minutes during Saturday's 131-116 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Champagnie made the most of his fifth start of the season, scoring a season-high 16 points while also adding four combined steals-plus-blocks. Much like his brother, Champagnie has the ability to rack up numbers when afforded meaningful playing time. In four games over the past week, he has averaged 12.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.0 steals, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers, which is good enough for top-60 value. While this could fall off a cliff at any point, he could be worth a look in the short term, even in 12-team leagues.

Finishes season on high note
Champagnie finished the 2024-25 regular season with the Wizards on a high note.
ANALYSIS
Washington's decision to sign Champagnie to a three-year, $6.82 million contract in March appears to be a bargain. The forward posted averages of 8.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.2 three-pointers in 21.6 minutes across 62 regular-season games, but he really turned on the jets late -- in the final five games, Champagnie produced 19.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.8 blocks and 3.0 three-pointers.
