2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bagley split his time between the Grizzlies and Wizards in 2024-25, but he never broke through on either team. Overall, he made a total of 31 regular-season appearances with averages of 4.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 8.5 minutes per contest. During the offseason, Bagley signed a one-year deal with the Wizards, and there's a chance he could be slightly more involved. Alex Sarr is the unquestioned starter, but Washington's other two options at center are two-way center Tristan Vukcevic and Anthony Gill. Bagley has always been a capable scorer and rebounder, but the rest of his stat profile is pretty bland. As long as Sarr is upright, Bagley will be an undesirable fantasy asset. Read Past Outlooks
Iffy for Thursday
Bagley is questionable for Thursday's game against Denver due to an illness.
ANALYSIS
Bagley's status could be determined by a game-time decision following Thursday's pregame warmups. With Tristan Vukcevic out with a hamstring strain, the Wizards could be forced to deploy Will Riley and Justin Champagnie at the center spot more often in small-ball groups behind Alex Sarr.

2018
Bagley began his career with high expectations after the Kings selected him with the No. 2 pick of the 2018 Draft. However, the 25-year-old has yet to surpass his rookie season, during which he averaged 14.9 points and 7.6 rebounds across 25.3 minutes per game in 62 regular-season outings. After a four-year stint with the Kings, Bagley was traded to Detroit, where he struggled to establish a prominent role due partly to a knee injury, a lingering back injury and a surgery to repair two fractured fingers on his non-shooting hand. The Pistons eventually traded the big man to the Wizards last season. In Washington, Bagley averaged 13.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.4 combined steals and blocks in 24.0 minutes per game for a non-contending team. However, he may struggle to carve out a prominent role with the Wizards this season after the team signed Jonas Valanciunas and selected Alex Sarr with the No. 2 pick. Furthermore, Bagley will have to compete for minutes off the bench with Richaun Holmes and Tristan Vukcevic. Bagley's fantasy upside relies on his offensive production and rebounding, and if he's unable to exceed 20-plus minutes per game, he will likely be a non-factor in fantasy formats.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Wizards could flip him
Bagley's $2.3 million expiring contract is another asset Washington can include in trade deadline deals, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Bagley is not viewed as a core piece of the rebuild, and Robbins notes that he could be expendable. The big man could be moved to help facilitate a larger salary dump for draft compensation -- the Wizards could potentially attach him to Khris Middleton in deals. As a standalone asset, Bagley could draw some appeal from contending teams as a productive bargain-bin option. Across 36 regular-season appearances, he's averaging 10.0 points on 61.9 percent shooting.
