2025 Fantasy Outlook
After injuries limited Gueye to six appearances as a rookie, he managed to suit up in a mere 33 regular-season games in 2024-25. He averaged 6.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 42.1 percent from the field, 25.9 percent from long range and 76.2 percent from the free throw line in 16.2 minutes per contest. He capitalized on a modest role to deliver solid per-minute production, showing glimpses of rim protection and interior defense. Looking ahead to 2025-26, Gueye's path to minutes is very complicated. The Hawks essentially replaced Clint Capela with Kristaps Porzingis, and Jalen Johnson is expected to be healthy again after being limited to 36 games in 2024-25. If the Hawks start all three of Johnson, Porzingis and Onyeka Okongwu, Gueye would potentially claim the backup center minutes. However, it's also possible the Hawks stagger Okongwu and Porzingis at center quite a bit, making it hard for Gueye to see consistent run. Read Past Outlooks

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Praised by head coach
Gueye received praise from head coach Quin Snyder after the Hawks defeated the Lakers on Saturday, according to Lauren Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "He's been hungry," Snyder said after the game. "He wants to get better. He's putting the time in games, like tonight, he gets even more opportunity to do that, obviously, on the floor."
ANALYSIS
Gueye had a quiet night off the bench in Monday's win over the Clippers, but he's beginning to make an impact in the Hawks' rotation. Snyder's words suggest that he might be in line to see even more minutes as the season progresses, especially if Kristaps Porzingis, who's yet to reach his best form since joining the Hawks in the offseason, is forced to miss time.
