2025 Fantasy Outlook
Dillingham, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, averaged 4.5 points, 1.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 10.5 minutes per game over 49 appearances for the Timberwolves. He posted shooting splits of 44.1/33.8/53.3, and never really came close to offering much fantasy appeal. While his per-game numbers were modest, Dillingham showcased flashes of playmaking and scoring potential during his rookie campaign. Things are looking up a bit heading into his second season, however. The Timberwolves had a very quiet offseason, and they were unable to retain Nickeil Alexander-Walker in free agency. Mike Conley is entering his age-38 season, and the Timberwolves may continue to scale back his minutes. If Dillingham can put together a strong training camp, he has a legitimate shot to carve out a healthy role in the rotation, making him an intriguing player to monitor as a possible sleeper. Leads Chicago in scoring
Dillingham racked up 16 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), one rebound, seven assists and three steals across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 124-105 loss to Boston.
ANALYSIS
Dillingham had his best game in three appearances as a member of the Bulls. He led the team in scoring in defeat with 16 points off the bench, while racking up seven assists and three steals. He's competing for minutes in a crowded backcourt going forward.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Dillingham was selected by the Timberwolves with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. One of the most exciting offensive players in college basketball last season, Dillingham averaged 15.2 points, 3.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds in just 23.3 minutes per game. He also knocked down 44.4 percent of his 4.4 three-point attempts per game. At 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, Dillingham is a bit undersized, but the Wolves are betting that he'll be able to add weight to his slight frame in order to handle the rigors of the NBA game. With Mike Conley and Anthony Edwards already in place in Minnesota, Dillingham will likely be deployed as a spark plug off the bench in Year 1, competing for minutes with Donte DiVincenzo and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. In Summer League, he averaged 13.6 points and 1.6 threes on 36/31/55 shooting, 7.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.0 steals, 0.4 blocks and 3.4 turnovers in 29.8 minutes. Dillingham's efficiency was poor in Summer League, but he showed off the speed, tough-shot-making ability and passing that should have Wolves fans and fantasy managers intrigued.

Getting fresh start
Dillingham appears to be a stronger fit in Chicago's up-tempo system under Billy Donovan after struggling to crack Minnesota's rotation earlier this season, Joe Cowley of The Chicago Sun-Times reports.
ANALYSIS
The No. 8 pick in the 2024 draft logged a season-high 22 minutes Saturday, finishing with nine points and showcasing his playmaking with multiple alley-oop assists, drawing praise from his head coach. "At times, we've struggled to get downhill,'' Donovan said. ''He's the one guy, when the ball is in his hand, that can really break people down, play off the dribble and put some pressure on the basket.''
