Provides spark in loss
Mamukelashvili totaled 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and six rebounds across 23 minutes during Sunday's 121-113 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
After recording just three points on 1-for-4 shooting from the field in Friday's loss to the Hornets, the 26-year-old big man bounced back and led the Raptors' bench in scoring and boards, outperforming starter Jakob Poeltl. Mamukelashvili had shot just 29.4 percent from the floor in his previous two games, so his efficiency Sunday is an encouraging sign. While he doesn't stuff the stat sheet on a nightly basis, the fifth-year pro remains a solid streaming option whenever Poeltl is sidelined.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2021
Following a midseason trade from Milwaukee to San Antonio, Mamukelashvili assumed a larger role for the tanking Spurs. He played 19 games down the stretch, compiling intriguing averages of 10.8 points and 6.8 rebounds to go with 1.1 three-pointers. He scored double-digits on 11 occasions, making the most of a favorable situation. Heading into the 2023-24 campaign, Mamukelashvili is likely to see his role reduced, thanks largely to the addition of Victor Wembanyama. Along with Charles Bassey, the pair should battle it out for backup minutes. Both have an element of upside to their games, although Bassey is probably the frontrunner when it comes to being the priority off the bench. Mamukelashvili is not worth drafting but could once again have some sneaky streaming value down the stretch, should the Spurs opt to throw in the towel.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Thriving in bench role
Mamukelashvili has been delivering excellent numbers off the bench this season while providing much-needed depth behind Jakob Poeltl, according to Eric Koreen of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
"I tell myself that you waited for this opportunity for four years, and no matter what, you go out swinging," he said, and it's clear the big man is making the most of his minutes. Mamukelashvili isn't expected to deliver a ton of fantasy value, but the big man remains a key piece off the bench for a surprising Raptors team that sits in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 10-5 record entering Thursday's slate.
