Sees extended playing time
Curry contributed 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal across 19 minutes during Friday's 130-94 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Curry started for the Hornets in the second half of Friday's game after Nick Smith suffered a groin injury. Curry took advantage of the extra playing time and led the Hornets in both points and three-point makes, with his five threes tying a season high he set against the Pistons on Feb. 9. The veteran guard will look to finish the regular season strongly in Sunday's rematch against Boston.

After being traded from Dallas to Charlotte before the trade deadline, Curry suited up for just eight games down the stretch, succumbing to an ankle injury late in the season. In those eight games, Curry played limited minutes off the bench, averaging just 9.0 points and 1.1 three-pointers. Given he was used sparingly, even with LaMelo Ball on the sideline, it's hard to envisage Curry having a substantial role this season. He remains an elite perimeter threat, although his low-volume attempts negate any potential upside. While he should be on the fringe of the rotation, there are no guarantees he will feature on a nightly basis. At this point in his career, Curry would need a miracle to even be considered a viable asset outside of deeper formats.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Golden State's interest is mutual
Curry and the Warriors have a mutual interest, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
ANALYSIS
Charania adds that Golden State views Curry "as a needed bench shooter with an obvious family tie." The Warriors are also interested in both De'Anthony Melton and Al Horford, but nothing is likely to be sorted out until the Jonathan Kuminga situation is dealt with. If Curry does join his brother Stephen in Golden State, he'd likely have a minimal rotation role, similar to the one Gary Payton previously had.
