Castro hasn't played in more than a week and the Twins have finally relented and placed the super utility player on the IL. According to Dan Hayes of The Athletic, it's a Grade 1 strain for the switch-hitting Castro, who can hit pain-free from the right side but isn't able to swing left-handed without feeling tightness. He's eligible for activation May 1 and it sounds like he'll have a shot to return at that time.
