ANALYSIS
Peterson did appear in an Oct. 24 exhibition against Louisville, where he drew the start and led the Jayhawks with 26 points (9-15 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 2-5 FT) to go along with four rebounds and five steals (he did commit six turnovers). It's possible his absence here was just to give other players a longer look against a D2 opponent, as no reports of an injury have surfaced. The five-star freshman should be a key player on offense for Kentucky once it opens its season against Wisconsin-Green Bay on Monday, Nov. 3.
