Chol has only played in 31 games for Mississippi State in his first two years with the program, and now he'll sit out his entire junior season after undergoing season-ending knee surgery. Chol was reportedly in the mix for a starting role down low with the Bulldogs, and indeed, his injury puts Mississippi State a little "behind the eight ball," as head coach Chris Jans put it. This puts much more of an onus on Wichita State transfer Quincy Ballard as well as Kansas State transfer Achor Achor.
