With Christian Anderson scratched late with an illness and JT Toppin struggling throughout the night, Watts took on a larger role, turning a season-high 22 shot attempts into 19 points while dishing out five assists and collecting two thefts as the Red Raiders fell to the Jayhawks. Watts also pulled down six of his season-best 12 rebounds on the offensive end to amass his third double double of the campaign and his second in nine conference games. This big performance came on the heels of consecutive games in which he had combined for just 12 points and seven boards. This big performance now renders him with averages of 12.0 points, 7.7 boards, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steals during conference play, though he's only shooting 36.3-percent from the field.
