Stellar exhibition run continues
Thomas had 23 points (9-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds and four assists across 32 minutes in Monday's 99-75 exhibition victory over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
After leading the team with 18 in an earlier exhibition against Cincinnati, Thomas was again a star performer in the final tune-up effort for Arkansas before its NOv. 3 opener against Southern. Fellow freshman Darius Acuff was a higher-rated recruit and is seeing a ton of volume as well, but Thomas is a fellow five-star prospect who has stood out even more in exhibition play. He could pose a real threat to the minutes and shot volume of incumbent starter D.J. Wagner.
