Council is coming off two straight highly productive seasons. His most recent was at St. Bonaventure, where he averaged 14.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.1 steals as an every-game starter. With presumably one season of eligibility remaining, he'll take his talents to Kansas, where the 6-foot-4 guard should get the chance to compete for a starting role immediately.
