ANALYSIS
No starter logged more than 23 minutes against a severely overmatched opponent, but the shot volume and efficiency were both great signs for Council's 2025-26 fantasy outlook. Five-star freshman Darryn Peterson (rest) sat this game out due to rest, and he'll unquestionably be the top option for the Jayhawks this year, but Council still has plenty of room to contribute in a secondary role. He also started a more intense exhibition against Louisville on Oct. 24, where he picked up 11 points, four assists and four rebounds. He was just 1-for-9 from the floor in that contest, but it was the second-most field-goal attempts of any Kansas player, which bodes well for his volume.
