Crum entered Sunday night's 30-15 loss to the Tiger-Cats for Dru Brown (head) with 12:13 remaining in the second quarter and completed 16 of 22 passes for 149 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and rushed six times for 43 yards.
ANALYSIS
Crum was able to lead the Redblacks to a field goal on that initial drive and Ottawa's next two possessions before halftime as well. The mobile backup also contributed plenty on the ground and was reasonably sharp through the air, but he was only able to help generate three points in the second half. Crum may be called on to draw his third start of the season in a Week 9 home matchup against the Stampeders on Thursday night, July 31 if Brown can't clear concussion protocol over the Redblacks' Week 8 bye.
