As his final line indicates, Rankin was absolutely stonewalled on the ground by a Stampeders defense that had been vulnerable against the run. However, he did manage to offer some fantasy utility as a receiver, yet his turnovers also detracted from his overall performance. Rankin had a career-best season that saw him accrue 1,013 rushing yards and nine touchdowns along with a 56-713-4 receiving line, but he was actually held to one or zero rushing yards in three games overall. Nevertheless, Rankin proved himself a capable lead back with the ability to rack up ample production through both the ground and air, leaving him poised to serve as a valuable fantasy asset again in 2026.
