Wheatfall finished second in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night for the Blue Bombers, despite Zach Collaros exiting the game in the first half with a head injury. The Fresno State product also equaled his season high in catches, and he crossed 60 receiving yards for the fourth time in five games to open the campaign. Wheatfall should remain an integral part of the air attack whether it's Collaros or Chris Streveler under center in a Week 8 road matchup against the Argonauts.
