Arbuckle completed 28 of 40 passes for 242 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and added two rushes for 12 yards during the Argonauts' 26-25 loss to the Alouettes in Week 7.

Arbuckle put together another solid showing in place of Chad Kelly (leg), but after helping stake the Argos to a 25-14 lead entering the fourth quarter, he was unable to help Toronto generate any points in the final 15 minutes. That helped pave the way for the Alouettes' successful comeback, and his interception at Montreal's 29-yard line with 1:03 remaining essentially sealed the Argonauts' fate. Arbuckle did throw multiple TDs for the second straight game and third time in the last four contests overall, connecting with Damonte Coxie (four yards) and David Ungerer (14 yards) for his pair of scoring tosses. Previous reports indicated Kelly could be ready by Week 8, so Arbuckle may have played his last game as a starter for now.
