Alonza Barnett News: Shines on ground in win

Barnett completed 10 of 25 passes for 93 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Friday's 31-14 win over Troy. He also had 12 rushes for 85 yards with one touchdown.

Barnett wasn't an amazing passer in the conference championship game against Troy, but he didn't need to be, as he dominated on the ground, and the Dukes were up for most of the game. The redshirt junior quarterback will now focus on a bowl game for JMU after a very successful campaign in his second year as the QB1.
