Braxton Woodson News: Two rushing touchdowns in opener

Woodson was 3-for-7 passing for 26 yards during Saturday's 52-7 win against Virginia Military. He also had seven rushes for 180 yards with two touchdowns.

Woodson made the most of his opportunity Saturday, setting a career high in rushing yards. His performance was highlighted by a 74-yard touchdown run at the start of the third quarter, and the Midshipmen now know they have a very capable backup in case anything happens to Blake Horvath.
