Caden Creel News: Struggles as passer in loss

Creel completed 12 of 21 passes for 96 yards and one interception during Friday's 19-15 defeat versus Kennesaw State. He also had 18 rushes for 112 yards with one touchdown.

Creel couldn't get it going on the passing front in the eventual championship loss to the Owls, but he did salvage his performance with 112 rushing yards and a score on the ground. The redshirt sophomore quarterback will now turn his focus to an upcoming bowl game after a solid season as the Gamecocks' starting quarterback for most of the year.
