Caden Veltkamp News: Four interceptions in loss

Veltkamp completed 30 of 49 pass attempts for 228 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions during Saturday's 39-7 defeat to Maryland. He also had eight rushes for -13 yards.

After surpassing 3,000 passing yards last season at Western Kentucky, Veltkamp had a difficult debut as an Owl, setting a career high for interceptions in a single game. The junior's 30 completions were his most since 2023, and he will look to be more accurate next week against Florida A&M.
