Easton Messer News: 15 receptions in opener

Messer gathered in 15 of 19 targets for 87 yards during Saturday's 39-7 defeat versus Maryland.

After transferring from Western Kentucky with quarterback Caden Veltkamp, Messer was the top target in his debut as an Owl. He had never recorded more than nine receptions in a game before Saturday and is looking to build off a 2024 season with 793 receiving yards.
