Frank Peasant News: Touchdown in season opener

Peasant had six carries for 61 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-10 win over Chattanooga.

Entering his sixth season of college football, Peasant impressed in his Memphis debut. The Middle Tennessee State transfer played a bigger role than expected after starting running back Greg Desrosiers went down with a lower-body injury. With his status still unknown, Peasant could see more carries the next few weeks, along with Sutton Smith.
