Sagapolutele will return to Cal for the 2026 season, per Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.

Sagapolutele will run it back with the Golden Bears for his sophomore season after a successful starting stint this campaign. The 6-foot-3 gunslinger tossed for 3,117 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions while rushing for three scores across all 12 regular-season games this season. He'll now focus on the upcoming Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl versus Hawaii on Dec. 24.
