Omari Evans News: Taking slot reps in practice
Head coach Jedd Fisch indicated that Evans has and could continue to see work in the slot heading into the 2025 season, per Chris Fetters of 247Sports.com.
Fisch made it clear that he sees the potential for Evans to be an all-around weapon for the Huskies in 2025, clearing the way for him to operate out of the slot as well as out wide. No matter where the 6-foot receiver lines up, he is expected to play a solid role within the Washington offense after transferring in from Penn State, where he caught 21 passes for 415 yards and five touchdowns a year ago.
