Trent Battle News: Successful with limited touches

Battle compiled seven carries for 60 yards during Saturday's 35-24 victory versus Southern Methodist.

Battle put together an impressive seven carries, including a 27-yard play. The senior is averaging 9.0 yards per carry on just 12 attempts this season. Jeremy Payne received the bulk of the work in place of the injured starter Kevorian Barnes against SMU. If Battle keeps playing this way, he's bound to receive more carries. TCU will play at Arizona State next week.
